Pottery Barn

as most of you know... I have a little thing for Pottery Barn. When we got married I registered at Pottery Barn because I knew that I pretty much needed everything that they had there.

I registered for these dishes and got everything that was part of the set, I love them so much, I really didn't need anything else.

Because I've been so satisfied with the things that I have from there, it's been a while since I've actually been there or looked at their website. I got everything I wanted, so what was the need?

A few nights ago I felt extremely bored and thought I should take a look at their website just for fun..... and this is what I found.....

Our dishes in BLUE!!!! why did this not happen until a year AFTER I got married???? I want them.... no, I NEED them. My craze is back....what is a girl to do??

Well, my birthday is coming up in a couple of months. Not just ANY birthday, my GOLDEN birthday ( I will be 22 on the 22nd of April). So, if any of you need gift ideas, I think I just gave you a good hint (a hint mostly for Steven). :) In the mean time.... I will just look, stare, dream, and shop.

That is one successful chin

Gaston knows he has a great chin
He is so smug

anniversary extravaganza!

remember this?

We got married a year ago yesterday!!!! To celebrate our anniversary we went up to Midway and stayed a night at Inn on the Creek. It was soooooooo nice to just relax. We had a really good time.

We went to dinner at Cafe Galleria and ate some really good pizza then went to Zermatt to get dessert at the pastry shop there (the cheesecake I got wasn't that great) and walked around the ice castle.... thing outside.

mushrooms + fontina cheese + pine nuts + rosemary = delicious.

I really didn't want to eat the cake.... this is not the top of our actual wedding cake... we didn't wrap ours well enough so it's sitting in our freezer looking gross... luckily we had several cakes at our wedding (courtesy of my mother) and she was smart and wrapped the top of one up really well and let us take hers. Always good to have a back up! very awesome ceiling in the tea room.

when we got back from dinner and such there were rose petals on the bed...... something we weren't quite expecting. but a nice touch nonetheless.

Steven sent me flowers at work yesterday :) which was kind of funny.... I was playing with 6 toddlers and they all wanted to see the flowers and one got really mad at me because she wanted them all to herself. He also got me Sleeping Beauty on Bluray! I am a big disney fan and this is one of my favorite disney movies. who wouldn't want sleeping beauty on bluray anyways?!?

Looking back on our wedding day.... i keep asking myself would I go back and do anything differently if I could? The answer is yes. What would I have done? I would have tasted the hot chocolate that I insisted on having there, and I didn't even have one drop!!!

I think I also would've taken a sleeping pill at nine the night before so that I could get a full nights sleep.... I'll admit, after the ceremony all I wanted to do was take a nap.

Well, It's been a great first year of marriage and I am looking forward to this next year! :)

I admit...

....that I have an infatuation with peanut butter and will eat a big scoop plain sometimes.

....that I haven't cleaned the inside of my car for nearly a year.

....that sometimes I would really like to spank a few of the kids at the day care (but I don't)

....that I probably know all the Backstreet Boys songs from memory.

....that I am quite frightened of singing solos in public (or in the house when I know others can hear me.)

....that I would like to make it illegal to bring a vomiting/feverish child to day care.

....that I probably need a little bit of therapy from working with 8 toddlers.

Today was a really rough day at work, can you tell?
