An exciting day at work

Today, I went to work at 7:30 AM.

At 9:15, we were told to evacuate due to a break in a gas line outside. I'll have you know, that evacuating a church with 30+ children is quite the adventure.

We waited in the day care's vans while we tried to keep the kids happy by singing "If you're happy and you know it" several times. When that got old, the kids just started hitting, kicking, and poking each other. Luckily, the fire department came and told us to relocate. So, we relocated to another church(at least an hour had passed by this point, after getting car seats and children buckled in to massive vans).

Once we were at the building, we started calling parents to come pick up their children, and then we ordered pizza while I tried to stop some two year-olds from breaking a piano.

Then, we enjoyed our pizza while we waited for parents to come.
